The National Hyperbaric Centre (NHC) has appointed Steve Sheppard as Training Manager to oversee major development of its training department. Managing Director, David Smith commented: "The current market demand for diver and subsea training is booming and facilities and expertise at the NHC are ideal to provide high quality and realistic subsea training. The appointment of Steve Sheppard as Training Manager has enhanced the quality and range of courses available in order to meet the requirements of several industry leaders looking to train a range of staff members to assist in their company proof of competency standards." Mr Sheppard, who has a wealth of experience in personnel training and development, has embraced the role with further proposals of adding to the extensive range of courses currently available. "We are looking at a number of new courses for company managers, client representatives, engineers and safety personnel to give them a better understanding and appreciation of the industry they are working in.
