The National Hyperbaric Centre has appointed Tony Webster as its new Technical Manager to strengthen even further its team of technical experts. The plan is to assist new diving companies, and those unused to IMCAs requirements, to conform to IMCA International Standards in Diving System technical and safety systems. Tony has spent over 30 years working on diving systems around the world and has experience in design, manufacture, installation and refurbishment stated David Smith, Managing Director of the NHC. His decision to join us further enables the NHC to provide North Sea expertise and experience to many of the new companies starting up around the world. They are expected to conform to IMCA Wordwide standards to satisfy the oil clients, but they are having to make that leap in a very short time without the necessary experience. We now have a number of experts at the NHC who can assist that transformation Tony will be in charge of the superb Hyperbaric Chamber system which we operate within the NHC, and with this level of knowledge it would be remiss not to offer advice to the industry on other saturation diving systems. Our expertise in terms of IMCA DESIGN requirements, auditing and client expectations is very good indeed, and we are available to assist companies in their efforts to dive more safely.
