The National Hyperbaric Centre (NHC) is an independent company providing expertise and services to the Subsea industry and pressure-related industries. We offer a wide range of services from commercial diver training, hyperbaric welding and subsea testing and consulting to customers worldwide.
The NHC has been involved in the diving industry for many years throughout the provision of training, testing, hyperbaric facilities and decompression studies. Our understanding of extreme environments enables us to provide professional advice and services to customers of all industry markets.
We have assembled a team of very experienced people with backgrounds from working in pressurised environments. Their experience in a variety of subsea activities over many years is perhaps unique, even in a world context.

The National Hyperbaric Centre's courses are no longer limited to commercial diver training, now courses have been developed for both offshore and subsea industries as the focus moves to improving subsea safety. |
The NHC has deep water simulation facilities capable of both manned and unmanned testing. A variety of hyperbaric pressure test vessels can be utilised to create depths of up to 8000m/26,300ft. |
The NHC offers a range of specialised medical facilities and treatments. Medical Chamber operated on behalf of NHS Grampian. |

The National Hyperbaric Centre has recently invested in procuring a greater range of Test and Servicing Equipment and employ experienced and approved Dive Technicians. With our new and refurbished facilities, we are pleased to be able to offer the following services. |
The NHC has been involved as a prime contractor or as a key partner in many R&D projects. From early days with the Centre being used for physiological studies on divers and diving techniques, to chemical and bacteriological research and their effects within hyperbaric environments. |
